how to apply housemanship in Malaysia ?

hi there . for those newly grad from oversea's medical school , you might need this .

steps to apply for housemanship in Malaysia :

1. submit online SPA8i form at http://www.spa.gov.my/Portal/MaklumanBorangSPA8i 
2. submit all the photocopied documents , make sure they are certified as true copy ( IC , birth cert , SPM cert , medical degree and academic transcript ) , passport sized photo , RM20 wang pos or bank draft and the provisional registration form which can be downloaded from http://efenem.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/mmc-daftar.pdf to Malaysian Medical Council
3. MMC will issues a sijil pendaftaran sementara that comes with a provisional registration number
4. go to Bahagian Sumber Daya Manusia in Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia to fill up Borang Maklumat Diri and not to forget to submit your passport sized photo , photocopied IC , births cert , SPM cert , medical degree , academic transcript and sijil pendaftaran sementara MMC also . Before that , decide the 3 hospital choices for housemanship . remember your parents' IC number also as it's required in the BMD
5. call up SPA (+60388856338/ +60388856372 , Pn Zamzarina or Pn Norazura) to book an interview date (make sure it's 2 days after submitted the online SPA8i form)
6. go for interview , make sure study and go . wear decently or maybe you can refer to this guideline . during the interview you have to fill up another form which they will provides on the spot and not to forget to submit your passport sized photo , photocopied IC , births cert , SPM cert , medical degree , academic transcript and sijil pendaftaran sementara MMC also . advised to bring along the original copy of all the documents as some of the interviewer will ask for it . go early so that you will be interviewed first
7. after the interview , wait for the Surat Perlantikan from SPA , normally SPA will send it to house , approx. 2-3 weeks after the interview
8. do a full medical check up with any registered doctor in any hospital (government or private) and surat akuan infront of pesuruhjaya tinggi sumpah or equivalent
9. wait for the calling for induction or what they called it Program Transfromasi Minda
